Autumn has finally arrived! If you’re like me, then you’re ready for all the warm scents, coziness, and the home decor that this season brings every year. Fall came in with horrible weather here, but all is forgiven. While the weather was acting up, I grabbed my coffee, headed online and rounded up some of my favorites in Fall home decor.

Top Favorites in Fall Home Decor

1.) Fall Front Porch Decor

Signs, garlands and banners really add to the autumn spirit if you’re feeling really festive.

I look forward to decorating my small front porch each year. So, I always keep an eye out for a cute door wreath to help set the scene and a good Fall welcome Mat for starters like the one below:

It’s tempting to load your porch with pumpkins, hay and leaves. But, you don’t want to overwhelm your entry way or front door with too many items. Sometimes keeping it simple is best!

2.) 18 x 18 Fall Pillow Covers

I have a deep love for pillow covers because the looks of my throw pillows can easily be changed each season. Plus, it’s way easier to fold a pillow cover for storage versus stuffing an actual fall pillow into my closet.

There are a variety of fall pillow cover sets that caught my attention this year especially those with buffalo check plaid, elegant colors or gorgeous gold accents.

3.) Fall Pumpkin Decor

Without pumpkins, it just wouldn’t feel like Fall… but maybe that’s just me. I love Fall pumpkin decor because it can serve as great table decor in the dining, living room or entryway.

From cute glass pumpkin to white and buffalo plaid pumpkins, they did not let us down this year.

4.) Fall Scented Candles

Candles are a great way to easily bring those warm and cozy scents of fall into your space. They are also a great option if you’re like my friend who loves fall but hates decorating!

My favorite fall candle scents are Cinnamon, Vanilla, and anything with hints of Apple or Pumpkin.

A good fall candle scent can still capture the mood of fall in your home even without any decorations in sight.

When should you start decorating for fall?

Everyone always wonders when you should start decorating for fall. I used to wait until the official day of Fall on the calendar. Nowadays, I begin removing my decorations from storage a little after Labor Day and start decorating by mid-September for fall.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my fall home decor favorites and that it inspired you as you get settled into the Fall season.

This post was all about favorite fall home decor.
