I am sharing the best places to buy cheap Christmas decorations. These stores are blessings in disguise because they sell affordable decor to help set the Christmas mood.
For many years, I waited until the last minute to decorate for Christmas and couldn’t do much since gifts had already depleted my budget. I quickly added these stores to my holiday routine and have not looked back!
So, let’s get into this list.
Where to Buy Cheap Christmas Decorations:
With decorations from these stores, I’ve proudly participated in holiday decorating contests in the office as well as impressing guests with Christmas decorations at my home.
Dollar Tree
Dollar Tree is always my first stop when I’m on a budget. I know first hand that they have cheap holiday decor that looks good. Surprise, right?! For example, they have Christmas stockings, window stickers, tins and decorative bows and ribbons. Don’t sleep on them, friends!
99 Cents Only
99 Cents Only has really upgraded their holiday game in the last few years. Their holiday decorations now have table top decor, decorative lanterns, pretty ornaments, signs, throw pillows, decorative garland and more! However, you have to watch the sticker price on items because it may be higher than 99 cents!
Five Below
Five Below has a cute seasonal decor and holiday section. I’m STILL using the tree topper, tinsel garlands and miniature ornaments that I purchased there. I’m a fan!
Family Dollar
Family Dollar is also a great source for cheap holiday decor. They have a nice selection of Christmas lights, shatter-proof ornaments, and artificial Christmas trees.
Dollar General
Dollar General is another required stop on my route. They typically have some affordable Christmas decorations and accessories. I also love their outdoor holiday decorations!
Big Lots
Big Lots usually has some pretty Christmas wreaths and cute porch decorations, but their price point climbs a little. I mainly like to check them out if I’m considering some outdoor Christmas decorations.
Tuesday Morning
Tuesday Morning is always my last stop but for good cause. The price point is usually slightly higher than the other stores on this list yet affordable. However, they usually have that ONE statement piece that helps to bring the holiday decor together for me!
Enjoy but don’t splurge too much!
One last thing, I have to admit that I sometimes get carried away with the low prices and buy too much! So, when I shop for cheap holiday decorations, I always tell myself to not buy more than 3 of the same item. I can always give one away if I overdo it!
